Future Plans

Well, it has been a week full of rain. Bethany and I have stayed in most of the time playing and cleaning out closets. I had a few appointments and mom kept Bethany while I was out. As most everyone knows, I am not working. I have given it much thought and prayer and decided to return to school for a 3 semester Surgical Technician course. This position consist of assisting the surgical doctors in operation procedures. I have always been fascinated anything medical, so this is my opportunity to get into the medical field. Due to me being laid off due to company closing, my tuition is paid in full, gas to and from school is paid and child care is paid. As long as I am in school, I will continue to receive unemployment benefits. This is the perfect opportunity to return to school and better my education in a field that I think I will exceed in. I also want to set an example to my two nieces, Summer, Autumn and also Bethany. My mom is planning on keeping Bethany while I attend school. The hours that I have work out with my mom duties. Please pray as I start the new avenue that everything goes to plan.

Mother's Day

My wonderful blessing...

What a wonderful day. This was my first Mother's Day and it was a great feeling waking up and seeing my baby's smile. I never knew that being a mom was so rewarding. I have a few things to share about my experience being a mom.

Since being a mom.......
1) My Darango is never clean.
2) I wash dishes twice a day.
3) I am constantly getting up the trash.
4) I talk like a child. Instead of saying bottle, it is now bot bot and asking Bethany "have you poo pooed"
5)I never sleep the whole night. I am always looking at Bethany to make sure she is alright.
6)My heart is filled with so much love.
"BETHANY, I LOVE BEING YOUR MOM. "
Bethany and I took my mom out to eat. We came back and let Bethany play in the pool. It was a fun but relaxing day. What better than for a mother and grandmother enjoy Bethany together.

For a Mother's Day gift, I received a card and a "mom" charm. It was beautiful. Thank You Bethany. I love my gift.

Bethany and I had our pictures taken together. I gave my mom a framed picture of us for Mother's Day.To my mom. " Thanks for everything that you do. I am so glad that God allowed me to be your daughter. I hope that I follow in your footsteps in raising my daughter. I LOVE YOU!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!!

1st time at the petting zoo

This weekend was perfect to take a trip to the petting zoo. Saturday, my sister Jill and her daughter Autumn, Bethany and I took a trip to Hollywild in Spartanburg. The zoo is called Hollywild because most of the animals that reside there have been in commercials or on television. We fed and touched most of the animals. There was also a bus ride that took place every hour to feed the deer, zebras and Buffalo. Bethany's favorite was the ducks. Bethany had to have a stuffed duck from the gift shop before we left. If anyone is close to Spartanbug, I would recommend a visit to the Hollywild Zoo.
