Things about Bethany at the age of 2.

I thought it would be great to list a few things about Bethany. It will also be a good factor for her to read as she gets older.
Of course Bethany has more toys than she can play with but she has taken to some small dinosaurs that she picked out a few weeks ago. Of all the toys she could pick out, she picked dinosaurs and she really likes to play with them. I think she likes dinosaurs because she watches "Dinosaur Train" every morning. It's a great cartoon about a family of pterodactyls that has adopted a tyrannosaurus. I actually like the cartoon too. Bethany has a lot of movies. She watched movies in her room, living room and in the Darango. (that is well worth having in automobiles) I asked her what her favorite movie is and she said, "Snow White" I do believe that because she watches it a few times a day. She now sings the Hi Ho Hi Ho song. It is too cute.
During the day she likes to snack on Lunchables that include apples, cheese, crackers, ham and bologna. These come in handy when traveling.
Anytime I ask Bethany what she wants to eat for breakfast or supper she will always say pizza and spaghetti. Our favorite place to get pizza is a local restaurant called Dempsey's. It has the best pizza. Bethany will put away some pizza, Pepperoni and ham chunks at Dempsey's.
As much as I try to get Bethany to drink water and juice she always ask for pepsi. So I have to believe that Pepsi is her favorite soft drink.
I asked Bethany what her favorite number is and she told me 2.
Her favorite colors are BLUE and PURPLE. That is so true. She always wants her toenails painted blue or purple.
Her favorite activities are riding the golf cart, feeding birds, singing and dancing.
Her favorite vacation spot is the beach.
Her favorite song is " I wanna rock n roll all night" Sung by KISS.

Bethany received a 2 gallon fish tank last week so I put it together and took Bethany to the local pet store where she picked out this pink Beta. Of course she named the fish Nemo. He does not look like Nemo but it is her fish. She is excited to have Nemo.

1st trip to the movies to see Shrek 3D

Bethany is a big fan of all the Shrek movies, so when the 3D movie came out I had to make a point to take her to the movies.
On Friday 5-29-10 Myself, Bethany, Aunt Jill, Nanny,Cousins Summer and Autumn took a trip to Spartanbug and enjoyed Shrek the Final Chapter. This is Bethany's first time to the movies. She did great at watching the movie.

Bethany loves to pose for any photo opportunity.

Bethany sat on her Aunt Jill's lap to watch the movie. Look at those eyes. You can tell she was involved in the movie.

Bethany enjoying a bag of popcorn and Coke. I am looking forward to another movie with my baby girl. Thank you Bethany for a great movie night.

Myrtle Beach Vacation

Bethany and I left on May 14 for Myrtle Beach and returned May 22 2010. We traveled with my mom, two aunts ( Brenda and Faye) and cousin Kim ( Faye's daughter) WOW! We had a great time. We enjoyed the sounds of the beach and the warmth of the sun. The beach was not crowded. We had the beach all to ourselves. While we were playing on the beach we seen many sea shells ( I found a sand dollar) fish and a few crabs. One evening we went out and walked the pier where we seen 4-5 sharks. I have never seen sharks in the ocean before. trust me... the water was not deep. I promised myself that I would not go out in the water deeper than knee deep. It was hard to travel back home but we look forward to return to the beach before the end of summer.
I started back to school on Tuesday. I am currently taking Biology and shooting for that A. I am excited about returning to school to learn something new. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Bethany loved going to the beach in the mornings and making mud pies and collecting sea shells. I think she would be just fine to pack up and move to the beach.

Bethany is so cool in her favorite Ariel swim suit with her pink hat. She collects sand for her mud pies.

My little beach bum.

One afternoon we all traveled to the Myrtle Beach Military Base where we enjoyed looking and reading about a few of the fighter planes used in WWII, and Desert Storm. It was amazing to read the stories behind these planes. Bethany was not that crazy about them, she was happy just running around the grounds.

Bethany is a swimmer. Yes, the pool was COLD, but she wanted to get in. I got in with her but I did not enjoy the water. The ocean was warmer than the pool. We swam for about 30 minutes then I convinced her to play in the ocean. I put Bethany on her float and let her go.

I told Bethany to model on the tree and this was the picture. She is a beautiful daughter.

One evening we all checked out the new board walk. Of course Bethany would rather walk with her Nanny ( my mom in the white shirt) and aunt Faye ( pink) It was a nice walk.

Here is America's Next Top Model........Cutie Pie.....

We went out to eat at the Outback Steak House. Bethany ate butter.

We Packed up and headed home on Saturday, but before we got on the road we stopped at Denny's and enjoyed a big breakfast. I am not in the picture because I was the one taking the picture. The picture includes( starting with Bethany on the left, Nanny (my mom), aunt Faye, cousin Kim and aunt Brenda).

Bethany is such a wonderful kid. This last picture is Bethany saying the breakfast blessing. PRICELESS.

Looking for that special egg

Saturday the church that Bethany and I attends had an egg hunt with a serving of finger foods after the egg hunt. Bethany had a great time hunting eggs and playing with the other children. It was a hot day but a wonderful day to be outside for running and hunting for the prize egg. The picture below is Bethany waiting for the egg hunt to begin. My Little Hunter!!! Sunday we went to church. We came home and changed our close for more egg hunting. I did not get a picture of her Easter outfit because by the time I grabbed the camera, Bethany had the dress OFF. We put on our shorts and went to my Aunt Faye's house where we ate a great lunch/dinner prepared by my cousin then headed outside for another egg hunt. Again, Bethany had a great time being with her cousins Zach, Emily and Hanna.
Get that egg baby girl!!!
Well, I bit the bullet and got Bethany and I 3 baby rabbits for Easter. For years, I have wanted a rabbit as a pet. I have a cat that is old and does not want to have anything to do with Bethany and I don't like dogs so I thought about getting a rabbit for Bethany and I to play with. I did not plan on getting 3. We have not named then yet. I am thinking about Zoey, Brently, and Basil.

Pierced ears

Bethany has been wanting to get her ears pierced so her nanny took her to Wal-Mart and had her ears pierced today. I was not able to stick around and watch it get done because if Bethany cried, I was going to cry. So, I had to leave the store. I had to get to class also. Her Nanny said that she cried for about two minutes but after that Bethany was fine and excited that she had in earrings. After shopping at Wal-Mart Bethany wanted to eat pizza, so Nanny took her to eat pizza where she showed everyone her earrings. I guess now jewelry will be on the birthday wish list. Bethany is now asking for a watch. I am going out Friday in hopes of finding her a watch that the Easter Bunny can bring.
Showing off her new earrings. I an letting her hair grow out for the summer. She looks so cute with pony tails.

Look at the crazy grim. She likes showing off her earrings.

I am so far behind.

I am so behind at posting on the blog. I had to buy a new computer. School also keeps me busy, but now that I have another computer, I hope to keep the blog updated on a regular basis.
This is Frosty. Bethany, Autumn (cousin) and I went outside right after breakfast and started building this snowman. We had a blast. We had a few snowball fights which Bethany loved. We love the snow but we love to see it gone also.

Bethany has a four wheeler that she is getting used to. When she first got on the four wheeler, she would just go around and around. It took a few days for Bethany to get used to turning the wheels. Now if I can get her to understand what STOP means. LOL

Bethany building Frosty. She did an awesome job!

A beautiful girl under a beautiful sky.

Bethany loved watching the snow and playing in the snow. We are now wanting the spring to come in.
